Sunday worship

Sunday mornings at WellSpring are a special time.  At 8:15, 9:35, and 10:55am, our church gathers at 1001 Chapman’s Crossing to thank God for what He’s done in our lives, seek out what He may want to teach us, humble ourselves before Him, and worship Him in song.  People from all walks of life and various denominational backgrounds come together as a family to experience and glorify God together.  We leave refreshed, challenged, thankful, encouraged, and ready to go “be Jesus” to the world.

These three worship gatherings–which each last a little over an hour–are basically identical; in other words, the songs, the style, and the message will be the same in all three services.  All three services always contain a few key elements such as prayer, musical worship, a sermon/message, communion, and a time of response.  Some might call it a “contemporary” worship style, and maybe that is a good way to describe it.  Just know that we’re casual with each other…while being thankful, humble, and joyously reverent toward God.  We offer age-appropriate settings/programs for children and for older students, but your kids are welcome in the main worship service as well.  Deaf or hearing impaired? Contact us—we also offer sign interpretation upon request.

Sunday mornings are also important to us for another reason; we know that many people encounter WellSpring for the first time through these worship services.  If you’re new to WellSpring, be sure to stop by the Information Table to say hello…and feel free to grab a cup of coffee before or after the worship service.   You may also wish to visit our “New to WellSpring” section to find out more about the church and about what to expect on a typical Sunday morning.
